On April 4, 2025, the Provincial Local Governance Resource Center (PLGRC) of Zamboanga Sibugay conducted a virtual orientation for the members of the Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Committee (MSAC) via Zoom Teleconferencing. 

Highlighting the activity was the presence of LGCDD Chief and LGRRC IX Coordinator Alvin Rex M. Lucero, who served as the resource speaker. In his presentation, he shared valuable insights on the concept, relevance, and strategic direction of forming the Pool of Experts — an initiative designed to harness the technical capacities of professionals and institutions across sectors.

The orientation sought to orient the MSAC members’ appreciation of their critical role in strengthening the PLGRC and supporting its mission of enhancing local governance. By institutionalizing the Provincial Pool of Experts, the PLGRC envisions a more responsive, inclusive, and evidence-based approach to local development initiatives.

Representatives from national government agencies, civil society organizations, academic institutions, and the private sector — all valued partners in the MSAC — actively participated in the discussions. Their enthusiasm and collaborative spirit reflected a shared commitment to good governance and sustainable development in Zamboanga Sibugay.
