One of the program’s highlights were the inspiring messages from our leaders in our community, the Regional Chief Administrative Officer of DILG Region IX Willibald Patrick Paglinawan, DILG Provincial Director of Zamboanga Sibugay Mario Baterna, and the Punong Barangay of Barangay Mabuhay, Honorable Alexander Benaro. Their messages emphasized the importance of advancing and protecting women’s rights and the significance of recognizing and supporting women’s roles in the society.

Another significant part of the program was the Pledge of Commitment led by the DILG Social Protection Program Focal Person, LGOO II Grizzelle Elardo. This powerful segment showed the participants publicly reaffirming their dedication to upholding women’s rights and actively contributing to gender equality within their spheres of influence.
