Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay – Provincial Director Mario A. Baterna attended the Awarding of the Notice of Compliance for the Local Transport Route Plan (LPTRP) 2023-2027. The Local Public Transportation Route Plan (LPTRP) is a crucial plan that details the routes, modes of transportation, and the number of vehicles needed to serve the public. The DILG plays a vital role in ensuring that Local Government Units (LGUs) develop and implement effective LPTRPs, working in coordination with the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

This plan is a minimum requirement for LGUs to obtain PUV franchises. PD Baterna’s presence underscores the DILG’s commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance local governance and improve public services.
