A 3-day Basic Incident Command System (ICS) training for PNP Zamboanga Sibugay was recently conducted at Jackie’s Hotel in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, marking a significant step in enhancing the region’s emergency response capabilities.

This training is a significant endeavor in collaboration with the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) IX, aimed to equip participants with foundational knowledge and practical skills in incident management and coordination.

The opening ceremony was honored by PD Mario A. Baterna, who served as the Guest of Speaker in behalf of RD Paizal O. Abutazil, emphasizing the priority set on strengthening Local Disaster Preparedness. By fostering a unified understanding among responders from various agencies, this training with OCD directly contributes to a more resilient and prepared Zamboanga Peninsula, ultimately enhancing the safety and security of its communities.
