The CY 2025 Partnership Forum, organized by DILG Region IX, marked a significant milestone in fostering collaborative governance and inclusive development in Zamboanga Peninsula. Through this event, key regional initiatives were formalized to strengthen multi-sectoral partnerships and citizen participation in governance.

Highlights of the Forum:

✅ MOA Signing for three major initiatives:

• Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Council (MSAC) – Ensuring stakeholder engagement in governance;
• Create Leading ZamPen – A convergence platform for innovation & citizen-driven development;
• Dagyaw 2025 Regional Convenors – Leading participatory dialogues for open governance.

✅ Strengthening partnerships for transparent and inclusive governance.
✅ Empowering communities through innovation and civic engagement.

This initiative aligns with DILG’s mandate under the Local Government Code to enhance inter-agency coordination, civic participation, and innovative governance in the region.

In his message, PD Mario A. Baterna expressed his appreciation to all partners and stakeholders highlighting the value of collaboration as a way to build stronger partnerships to be able to create meaningful programs towards progress.
